Discovering the Next Generation of Artists

MyTalent, a new music discovery platform connecting artists, fans, and music industry professionals, has announced the launch of the MyTalent Artist Competition, a global competition designed to spotlight emerging talent from around the world.

The competition begins immediately and will run until June 13, 2026, celebrating the official launch of the MyTalent App on June 1, 2026.

Artists from any country can participate, provided they meet the eligibility requirements and complete their registration on the MyTalent platform before the deadline.

The competition is designed to help unsigned artists gain visibility, grow their fanbase, and connect directly with industry professionals.

Who Can Join

The competition is open to independent artists and bands worldwide.

To be eligible:

  • Participants must be 18 years or older
  • Participants must not be signed to a major label
  • Participants must not be affiliated with major corporate sponsorships
  • Participants must own the rights to the music they submit

Artist registration closes on June 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM (UTC).

How to Participate

To officially enter the competition, artists must complete the following steps.

1. Register on MyTalent

2. Post Your Performance Video on Social Media

Record or upload a demo or live performance video and post it on at least one of the following platforms:

  • TikTok
  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • YouTube
  • LinkedIn

You can post on multiple platforms to reach more fans.

Your video must be public so people can see it.

3. Tag MyTalent in Your Post

When you publish your video, you must tag MyTalent so we can find your entry.

4. Publish Your Video on the MyTalent App

Beginning June 1, 2026, all participating artists must also upload their competition video to the MyTalent app.

This allows:

  • Fans to discover your music
  • Industry professionals to watch your performance
  • Your video to receive engagement inside the platform

How the Winner Is Selected

The competition winner will be determined based on a combined scoring system that reflects both audience engagement and artistic quality.

Artists earn points when fans and supporters join the MyTalent platform through their referral link.

Musicality
Industry professionals, artists, and producers will evaluate each submission based on:

Fan Engagement
Fan support will also play a role through likes on the artist's competition video, reflecting real audience engagement.

This balanced evaluation system ensures that both talent and community support contribute to the final result.

Prize Package

The winning artist will receive a comprehensive career development package designed to launch their music internationally.

The winning track will be mastered by Dave Collins, one of the most respected mastering engineers in the music industry, who has worked with artists including:
